Hi everyone
Been a while since I've posted.. Sorry.
A few pictures of what I've been up to. Only 29 days until I go away, I have in the last two days decided to go to LA as well, only about 50 dollars expensive in flights to stop there, so ill be spending 2 nights in Santa Monica. I'm trying to squeeze as much into 2 and a half weeks as I can.
I'm loving my new house and housemates, minus the drama that come with living and working with the same girls. I have recently started working in the front desk section at work, I'm really enjoying it as it's experience for when I move on to a new job in the future.

Home sick one day, not the next...

Feeling a little home sick tonight, it happens every so often- usually when I get time by myself and over think too much. (I'm good at that.) It always passes over by morning!
Had a long week in jasper, didn't enjoy myself at all. The people were a bunch of non English speaking weirdos (in the nicest way possible) Defenitley good to be back in lake Louise!

Goodbye lake Louise for a little while!

Hello everyone!
I'm leaving lake Louise for a while to go work at our sister hotel in jasper. Really looking forward to seeing another town but going to miss everyone here, they are like a second family but ill be back soon enough! I've got a few photos from my trip to the lake we took yesterday. The fairmont is just beautiful and it's probably where mum and Bruce and Cassie should stay when they come to lake Louise. The rooms overlook the lake. I'm so excited that I'm staying for the summer, the lake is 100 more times beautiful when there is no snow. Well I extended my contract here until October 2nd but I may extend it for another month and a half because I am having some special visitors in November!
In that time though I will be doing a few trips. Like flying to Vegas on the morning of my birthday and spending three nights there and then 3 nights in Miami and then off to Orlando for 3 nights. Just a quick 9 day trip as its summer at the hotel and it will be really busy- full house everyday in the summer! Lots of hours which means more money to save for when mum comes over. Yay :)

Sorry about my lack of posts lately. I've been so busy and having alot of fun!
I've been promoted at work at the hotel already! I impressed the boss so much she fired the current assistant head house keeper and gave the position to me! It also means a pay rise. More money for travelling is always a bonus!
Been doing lots of fun day trips around canada on my days off.

Miss my mum, brothers, sisters and grandma and grandad! So basically all my family. Love you all. 💚

Hi everybody!

I arrived in lake Louise yesterday afternoon after a 16 hour bus ride, should have only taken 12 but the amount of times we stopped was ridiculous! I met two other Aussies who happened to be working in lake Louise (at the same place) as well. So we all travelled here together. All the staff made us feel so welcome and we went to a staff thanksgiving dinner last night which was awesome! Our house is so cool- three stories high and my bedroom is very spacious. It's a really short walk to work, unless you get stuck waiting for the train to cross which has happened 2/3 times so far! I start work tomorow, I'm nervous but it's nice having met everyone already! I share a house with a Taiwan girl, argentina girl, Aussie girl and a Spanish girl! So there is alot of culture under one roof.
My week in Vancouver was one of the best holidays ever, I enjoyed it so much. I spent most of the time exploring the city alone, which I loved- until I got lost and ended up in a really bad side of the town. It was so scary! I spent the last two days in the hostel in the common areas hanging out with other people and just generally talking about Australia- everybody is fascinated with us! There is close to nothing in lake Louise and everything is so expensive. I had to go to the shops before to buy some basic fruit and dinner meals- it cost me a fortune. So apparently you can use the work ute and go to banff to buy groceries if there is enough people needing them- so next week that is what I'll do! I got home sick last night for the first time- but after a chat with a good friend I felt alot better. I do miss  mum alot though!! Love you mum!

Anyway, ive been sooo exhausted today so I haven't done much at all. I can't wait to see the lake though, which I will do on Sunday! ( my next day off)

I will get some photos up, I just have to download an app on my iPhone to be able to do that!

Counting down.

So, I am starting to get nervous. The countdown is on and I have so much to do before I leave!

2 weeks today left of work, then one week holiday in  Vancouver and then back at work starting my new job.. Scary to think how much different my life is going to be this time next month. Love the saying keep calm and Carry on, it's so relevant to my nerves and stress leading up to my move OS.
